Philosophically, our research interests are driven by the belief that collaborations between researchers in different areas and disciplines leads to exciting new problems along with new insights. Moreover, it is just a lot of fun!

Wireless networks provide interesting research questions that necessitate an inter-disciplinary approach. A significant portion of our recent interest has been in this area. A recent paper that gives an overview of some of our research in wireless networks can be found here. A theme that occurs is the role of diversity across disparate topics like source coding or wireless networks. However, this is not the only research topic of interest, and we have (and are) exploring questions in diverse topics like information theory, source coding, learning algorithms, computer graphics etc.
